Kamas Facts:
The Kamas bags are all filled with 90/10 white goose down and the quality of the down is 600+ or 500+ CUIN. Down filled sleeping bags ensure the best possible combination between insulation and weight (provided that the sleeping bag has top quality in the down).

Fjällräven ensures that all Fjällräven bags have top quality down in the mix between down and feather and CUIN value. The CUIN value shows how big volume the down can give (it has nothing to do with how much down a bag is filled with) and therefore how good insulation it ensures. 600+ CUIN means how much volume one ounce in weight of that particular down quality will fill (CUIN=cubic inches per ounce). The higher the CUIN value the more air in the bag and that translates into better insulation.

When Fjällräven states 700 +, 600+ and 500+ this describes the minimum fill power quality, often the actual quality in the bag is higher. When looking at a cross section of a Kamas bag they all have a box construction. This means that the down-filled channels are constructed with middle walls between them. In other words Fjällräven's bags have no through stitching and therefore no loss of insulation.
