"Varuste.net was born out of a desire to do work that inspires and brings joy. Each founding member had a background in uninspiring jobs, and we wanted to change that by creating an online store focused on our passions and hobbies. This made our work meaningful and fun."

"We noticed that there was a lack of high-quality outdoor and hobby equipment available in Finland. And if you did find something, it was often much more expensive and only available from abroad. We wanted to change this by bringing quality products directly to Finnish enthusiasts.”

This is how the five founders of Varuste.net describe why the company was originally established. In just a couple of decades, the company has grown into a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts on an international level, and a significant share of our online orders are now shipped outside Finland.
