Tekokuitutäytteinen makuupussi pääsee samoihin lämpöarvoihin kuin untuvamakuupussi. Se säilyttää kosteana paremmin lämpönsä ja kuivuu untuvapussia nopeammin. Tekokuitupussi on kuitenkin painavampi ja kookkaampi.
