The sizing matches the size chart. It's nice that for once there's a model available that isn't the timeless slim fit. There's plenty of room in the legs too, so your ankles won't be slouchy. It's impossible to judge how long they'll last in use with this experience.

They fit perfectly on the Finnish plump female body and are so comfortable and functional that they have moved from their original MTB use to everyday commuting and dog walking. Side ventilation, a waterproof back and heaters in the right places bring comfort and usability. Very good quality.

The fabric is really thick and stiff. It was also small in size. I had to return it because they were so tight around the waist.

The features of the pants would be exactly what I needed, but the legs were short (I'm 166cm/size s) and so wide from the knee up that the leg could rise up too easily when cycling and the ankles were left bare.. They went for a return. The materials felt wonderful and the pants were of high quality.

I bought L-size pants to make cycling pants and layer pants for colder weather fit under the pants. Size fits very well, but the pants are too long (I am 161 cm). The pants work great for -5 degree cycling. It didn't get cold. I like the lower design of the pants, the material is high quality and the thigh ventilation zipper are great if the weather warms up. I will definitely wear these for hiking as well.
