The ice remained for a good couple of days in the summer, but this is influenced by e.g. outside temperature, amount of ice, how often the lid is opened, whether to put more food items/beer in between.. When thinking about a road trip, you should note that finding ice in markets can be challenging/expensive. Works better with large ice cubes.
