The Scalarworks Peak fixed front sight indeed is a piece of iron worth having on one's rifle, provided one is not looking for the weakling's cheats with all the optical aids and ways around the real old school thing. The manually adjustable elevation with 0.5MOA/click is very comfortable. Installation on the Picatinny rail, after passing through brief stages of deep despair and utmost frustration, required few drops of gun oil and tender hammer work, in the end warrantying no hint to whatsoever movements of the installed sight.
