It has been used both in severe frosts and in mild weather, you don't need anything other than a thin shirt underneath, an insanely warm and comfortable jacket. No wind or rain through. The jacket only has warm-up pockets at the top outside, (and one pocket inside) and for some reason they are placed way too high, making them really difficult to use. That's why four stars. The jacket works great even in slightly cold weather, but in plus weather this jacket is a bit too much. In this jacket too, the Washing Instructions are hidden in the hip pocket, and the Washing Instructions differ from the G-Loft washing instructions on the Carinthia website. I can recommend the jacket to all winter people, both for moving around and for standing still.
