The Dura 6R is a durable, warm mat for demanding adventures, including extended outings in alpine and polar regions, rugged paddling trips and overlanding.
Suitable for a wide range of adventures, the Exped Dura sleeping mat offers an optimal balance of durability, light weight, warmth and comfort.
Downmat Technology - 700 cuin down insulation for use in all seasons, ensures maximum warmth in any weather or for the coldest sleeper, while a 7 cm thick air cushion cradles the body. Air chambers run head to toe, fully supporting the body for an unrivaled night's sleep and giving maximum durability.
The Dura sleeping mat features recycled 75D/170D ripstop face fabric; all Exped mats are certified carbon neutral by myclimate.

— Show originalVery insulating and comfortably wide. The surface is suitably frictionless, and the base is quiet in use, which was a top priority for me. The material seems very durable. The weight could be less, at least for hiking, and the packed size could be smaller, but you can't get everything in the same package. I would think it would be especially suitable for cycling and canoeing trips, where you don't have to file away every gram. This lightweight, well-crafted, and insulating sleeping pad is a significant upgrade from my previous self-inflating pad from the Dutch army. It provides superior comfort and is more convenient to pack. The Flextail pump I purchased as a complement to the pad further enhances the ease of setting up the sleeping system. Good for shorter people .
