The cap of the first drinking bottle leaked, water came into my lap when I squeezed the bottle and took a sip. I got a new bottle from the store to replace the defective one and it worked fine. There have been no problems with fidlock's bottles before.

It leaks really easily between the bottle and the cap if the tightening is not JUST right. As an improvement over older fidlocks, you can even drink from this because you can squeeze the bottle more easily.

Fidlock's bottles and attachment are second to none in their convenience. The downside to a moderately expensive bottle is the price if you go to drop, or otherwise break the bottle itself. The mechanism for attaching new bottles is not compatible with older models, creating "unnecessary" waste when the magnetic part of the bottle becomes useless.
