I picked these up as an impulse buy at a good discount. They work reasonably well as a lighter, but they smell so bad that I have to keep them in the yard at home.

Perfect package size to take the exact amount needed for trips. It's quite expensive though and it also often is not enough to use one tablet to head up a meal in an Espit stove.

I thought these were a bit like tourist supplies, but it was convenient to light the stove when wet wood served as fuel. 1 star off because the packaging material is trash that cannot be burned

Soots the dishes really badly and leaves an unburned residue on the bottom of the fire pot that was really hard to scrape off. Smells bad. But 3.5dl of water boiled nicely with one piece. Considerably toxic.
