Long, generous parka that reaches down over the rear and thighs. A perfect choice for changeable weather conditions; it protects against the wind and rain, and the synthetic padding will keep you warm in really cold temperatures. Fleece-lined storm hood with metal wire, protective brim and detachable faux fur edging. Eight pockets with plenty of room for essential items. Drawcord at the waist and two-way zipper with protective flap. This is an updated version of Fjällräven’s classic parka, now with sustainable fabrics and improved features and fit.

I have bought this jacket for my wife, and have one myself as well. I have used this jacket in temperatures down to -12 degrees C, and in typical Dutch authum/winter weather with temperatures just above zero with lots of rain and wind. This jacket performs flawlessly every single time. The build quality is very good, it's nice and warm and blocks all wind as well. I like the many pockets it has, and the hoody works very well in keeping the wind of your face. It might be too warm though for temperatures just above zero, if you are very active as well. So it's an expensive jacket, but in my opinion well worth it.

— Show originalI wanted to get a jacket that I wouldn't have to change for a long time, and the design had to be classic enough to last a long time without looking like one. And then, of course, you need quality. I first ordered a Nuuk parka in my size M, which was too big (I wish I had read the reviews more closely...) And then I changed it to a size S. The jacket is still a good size - if I had intended it only for city use, I would have changed to a size XS. But since the jacket can also go on trips, it had to be fair enough to fit layers underneath. Really warm, plus big pockets that can fit everything you need (and unnecessary, that's how much stuff you can hide in the jacket;D ) and a collar that fits tightly against the neck, which prevents the wind from blowing in through it.
