— Show originalI've been using Speedcrosses for 15 years, since model 3 – practically all my dog walks in them. The Speedcross GTX offers good grip, decent cushioning and keeps your feet dry. The durability could be better, but there may be a compromise with softness / grip. The fit is snug and the last is narrow, which works great off-road, but in very cold weather, wool socks require a roomier shoe.| Overall rating |

This model provides excellent support for the foot, the sole is firm enough to absorb bumps and uneven terrain, yet the forefoot is flexible and offers superb comfort for running. They also work in winter conditions. The only thing that makes me wonder is the durability of the Goretex membrane when my foot hits branches/stumps/other scratchy things in the forest.
