Nice colors and just the right number of pockets for your needs; it's easy to organize things by category without storage cubes. Based on summer use, the materials and zippers are well-suited to basic use, and the carrying comfort is okay, although not the best. The generous size of the laptop pocket is a plus, as it can easily fit a 15.6" laptop in a protective case with a charger and a small drawing tablet. Dog hair sticks to the fabric to some extent, but comes off with a little effort, as do various stains. The bottle pocket comfortably holds even a larger drink, and it's high enough that you don't have to worry about the bottle falling out. Overall, a good backpack if the small flaws don't bother you.| Overall rating |
I recently got the Cotopaxi Allpa 42L Travel Pack Del Día and took it on a week-long train trip. It was the first time I used it, and it was great. The size is perfect for a one-week journey, I managed to pack everything I needed without struggling to zip it up or feeling like I was carrying too much. What I liked most is how practical it is. The way it opens like a suitcase makes packing and unpacking super easy, and it’s really easy to find stuff without digging around endlessly. The compartments are well thought out, and everything stays in place, even if you’re on the move a lot. I haven’t flown with it yet, so I’m still not sure if it’ll always be accepted as a carry-on. From the dimensions, it should be fine, but I’ll have to test that in the future. It’s been a great purchase so far.
