Stavre is the perfect midcut boot for light winter hikes. Carbide studded BUGrip outsole has 16 steel studs that provide reliable traction even on pure ice. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane keeps the slush out and the feet dry. The shaft and the supportive midsole results in a stable boot suitable for light hiking. The BOA Fit System provides a precision fit without any pressure points. The wide last, Ortholite Hybrid insock and smooth liner keep the feet happy on long active winter days.

— Show originalI think the shoes are a good size, they fit well with wool socks. The roller that replaces the shoelaces seems to loosen a little when walking, but not so much that it would hinder use or that the shoes would be unused. The studs grip the ice well, even if there is a small layer of snow on the ice. Because of the Goretex, your feet stay very dry. These shoes are very suitable for everyday and outdoor use in snowy/icy weather.| Overall rating |

— Show originalEasy to put on and take off! In other brands, I usually use US 9 size, with an inner measurement of 26 cm. My previous Icebug studded shoes Pace-L Bugrip were US 9, with an inner measurement of 25.5 cm. There seemed to be room for the toes, but apparently the hard part of the toe of the shoe caused problems in that size. Now I ordered Us 9.5 and it seems that the inside measurement in this model is more than that 0.5 cm. So they seem a little big. Fortunately, the Boa lacing makes the shoe fit snugly.
