Good, affordable skating boots. The fit on my foot is really good, they don't squeeze my feet unevenly at any point. However, the cheapness can be seen in the fact that the ankle support is too loose for demanding use, which is why there are none of these for roller skiing. In the snow, the ankle support is fine, although skiing would probably be safer with stiffer shoes.

Light, but still sturdy-feeling overalls and a well-functioning bandage. The ankle circumference feels loose in relation to the shoe size, so not necessarily the best choice for very slender ankles. Salomon's shoes and overalls are small compared to the numerical size, so refer to the manufacturer's size chart or directly choose 1 size larger than you are used to.

good monos. Due to the wide instep, the first couple of hundred kilometers had to be taped on the inside of the arch to prevent blisters, until the boots stretched a bit. Laittanen still tapes for runs over 20km. 5x5 cm of kinesiology tape in the place where the blister tends to occur. edit: I always use tape these days or I'll get a big bladder already in my teens.
