It helps with balance when you are really in nature and there is no flat surface to be found. I have the MSR pocket Rocket cooker as my friend. I got this just because it's a bit more universal when I don't always use MSR throttles. It packs down really small and is even a little lost sometimes in the bag. One star off, because sometimes the bottle seems to come off too easily from its support and I doubt the durability of the plastic locking system in the long run, if the locking was also metal, then 5 stars.

Provides good support for the gas cylinder with the gas stove attached to it. It lasted and worked well for a week's hike.

It works really well and is suitable for canisters of different sizes. Holds well. A sturdy product for its weight, however, you have to be a little careful when handling it so as not to press too much vertically, etc. But you can't do better than this unless you make it out of a decently heavy material, this is LIGHT!
