Contrary to the product marketer, these didn't come with toothpaste, but with shampoo in one and dishwashing liquid (fairy) in the other. A bit more slippery stuff, so I haven't really dared to use them without a minigrip bag around. After a couple of weeks of experience, both leak a little from the filling end. They're probably really good for toothpaste and leak-proof enough.
p.s. The tubes are actively used on airplanes. It's possible that they would hold those slippery substances well if the air pressure didn't change so radically all the time.| Overall rating |
Before buying this I tried refilling one of those normal travel sized 25ml toothpaste things but, while it did work, it was super annoying with a ton of spillage. And the outer plastic was all wrinkly. The mouth was also filled with dried toothpaste so every time I unscrewed there would be toothpaste dust everywhere. In comparison, the matador fills up from behind and even tells you the fill limit so you don't accidentally overfill. 10/10 no complaints. You can probably fit some other pastes like hair products or cosmetics but I haven't tried personally

It saves a lot of space in a family with children when you can get adult and children's toothpastes in their own small tubes. These two were enough for two adults and two children for our two-week trip. Filling is easy, cleaning requires a little work and ingenuity, but it's not difficult either.| Overall rating |
Handy.
