I was looking for durable padded pants that can handle -20C...-40C frost. Really warm padded pants. I tried these in -30C frost while outdoors. I had a merino layer underneath. It worked well for a leisurely walk, but when I was walking briskly, I noticed that my feet started to sweat and collect moisture. Fortunately, you can ventilate your feet by opening the zippers on the sides a little from the top. I haven't gotten cold at any point, even though I had to stand outside for 60 minutes in -30C frost. I plan to use these pants in -20C and colder temperatures when outdoors. If you have to stand still for longer periods of time, they will definitely work even in warm -10C weather. The pants didn't get wet when rolling around in the snow and lying down. I also tried kneeling in the snow, but the pants stayed warm and dry at the knees, so they work well. Packs up into a relatively small package even though they are really plush. They are also really light. I haven't bought suspenders for these but I plan to. The pants have stayed on my feet, but with suspenders the pants would stay up better. The suspender loops are attached a bit loosely though. I wonder if they won't come off. I probably got the XL, which was a bit too big, because the L size wasn't available. I'm 168cm tall. The pants can be pulled up to the upper abdomen. But they don't constrict or pinch anywhere. And they fit over all possible layers. Good pockets and zippers.

Super comfortable, fit, warm and light. Braces are required to stay on, the Swedteam Crest Combi Accessory is a good brace for these.
