Good and comfortable cycling underwear for shorter runs and everyday cycling. These can be comfortably worn under any pants or shorts and are inconspicuous if you want to stop for a coffee in the city. However, there is enough cushioning that I wouldn't leave it on for e.g. a working day. After just over an hour of driving, the places start to get a little numb. However, I am such a beginner that there are no steel seats yet.. It would definitely be worth having a thicker cushion if you run for several hours. When washing, it is good to take the material (merino) into account. Size up enough that for my hips/waist of about a meter (at the belt), the L size was just fine.
