— Show originalA high-quality watch with an incredible amount of possibilities! Although I am quite technically oriented, I admit that as a new Garmin user there is a lot to learn here. Not a bad thing in itself, if learning something new and the actually unlimited possibilities with a sports watch are interesting, but this is a note for those switching from Polar/Suunto/Apple Watch. :) I believe that for someone who would have this as their first sports watch without years of getting used to something else, the learning curve would not seem as big!
Garmin offers an incredible amount of data, and the Garmin running coach in particular has been very inspiring in the first couple of weeks. I find the measurements to be reasonable: for example, the reports received from sleeping usually reflect very well how you feel when you wake up. I cannot fully agree with this with previous watches from different brands. In Garmin, I think overall well-being is the most important aspect, for example, body battery was one of the most important things for me when choosing a new watch.
I have to mention that I debated for a long time whether to get this S model or the "normal" model, and luckily I ended up with this S! I don't have the thinnest wrist, although not a sturdy one either, but the watch is a really well-proportioned size. If, like me, you're weighing up whether a too-big dial might start to annoy you, for example with winter clothes, then I can happily recommend this S size. :)| Overall rating |

I am happy with this purchase. I replaced my over 5 years old Forerunner 245m that still works fine only battery need charging more often. This Garmin Forerunner 265s could support viewing messages in Chinese that was surprised me. My old forerunner 245m could not support it. Therefore i have strongly recommended it to my friends.
