Very well made bag but doesn't fit me.... Review that may interest very thin people.
I am 1m77 for 63 Kg with a relatively normal / short back of 48 cm.
The KAJKA 65 has a beautiful silhouette, looks great with its wooden frame, seems robust, I really like the Vinylon F material, the side pockets are very practical and spacious (I estimate them at 4 or 5l each), the detachable lid is also very practical once at camp. Only negative point: the pockets of the abdominal belt are really very very small, we won't put much in them. Finally, the adjustments of the straps of the bag are very numerous, despite this they were not enough to allow me to adjust the bag to my thin size. We can therefore adjust the position of the pads of the abdominal belt, the positioning point on the shoulder strap of the load recall strap AND the distance between the shoulder strap and the back of the bag.
Since I am thin, my low thickness tends to cause air to form between my shoulder and the strap. This is the problem I have with the Tasmanian Tiger for example. Here, thanks to the aforementioned adjustments, it is really possible to adjust the straps well even to very thin builds like me. However, I was very surprised to feel the bag weighing on the hips in an unusual way and, in fact, it tends to go down on the hips. The only way to keep it in place would be to tighten the waist strap excessively to the point that it would be uncomfortable. So, no solution and I put it up for sale with regret. For information, I have as reference Tasmanian Tiger or Mystery Ranch with which there is no problem at all, the pads grip the hips well without creating a feeling of "pressure point" in particular, and without going down on the hips. So I am extremely surprised and disappointed that a bag that has been on the market for a long time, and has just been updated, from a brand that is a reference, is not more comfortable - and efficient - in terms of carrying at hip level. Without this I would have given it 5 stars, so very good bag, unless maybe you have my build.| Overall rating |
The perfect companion if you want to stay mobile when travelling. It survived the first holiday in the mountains with the snowboard, and the next trip to Thailand is imminent. The workmanship is fantastic, everything is very well thought out - there are a number of accessories, both original and from third parties, that make the backpack even more practical and individual.| Overall rating |
The robustness of the bag is incredible. Very good quality material. Super comfortable.
A little heavy but the structure is so qualitative that it compensates by far. It allows very good support and great balance.
You just have to know how to carry a slightly more substantial weight.| Overall rating |
This backpack is just great, so many pockets makes it easy to organize and so many fractures that makes it the perfect backpack. The quality of the materials is also really good. I received in less than a week, and I could follow from Finland to France. I recommand.
