Dog life jackets are often bulky and hard to move around with, especially on land. During hot summer days, there is a risk of overheating when wearing a thick vest. The construction ensures that your dog is kept afloat and stable relative to the waterline. The system has been thoroughly tested in open water, pools and on water treadmills with several different dogs.
The foam is placed on the side for increased buoyancy and freedom of movement. The panels are split into sections to allow your dog to turn without being restricted by the vest. Water can flow through, and the ventilated top can help prevent your dog from overheating. In addition to the split side panels, the shape of the vest allows your dog’s front legs to move freely. As a consequence, your dog is able to move more efficiently in and out of the water. This design provides your dog with buoyancy, stability and freedom of movement.

This dog life vest is amazing. I needed something for my 2nd dog before going to the Baltic sea and couldn't find the same vest as I bought before (size not available) so decided to go for Non-stop Dogwear Protector Life Jacket. The jacket is very light and doesn't limit the natural movements; it is not bulky, actually very pleasant to move aroung with. The dog floats easily on the surface but I must addmit this jacket requires slightly more strenght and endurance during swimming than my previous High Performance LifeVest by EQDog due to its lower displacement. You need simply to remember, the jacket is ment to support swimming not to replace it. I took Size 5 for a 20kg dog. On top of it I must add that the entire Varuste Team is absolutely great. They delivered door-to-door from FIN to PL within 24 hours. I will definitely come back here for more. Kiitos oikein paljon!

Very good life jacket. Im waiting for sunny days now. Dog -> Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriver Weight -> 21kg / 8 Months (will be perfect for few Months) Size Life Jacket -> 6 (check at Producer www) Big movement and very good settings.
