The extremely thin, truly breathable and water-repellent fabric makes this the most versatile jacket I own. The water resistance is top notch: drizzle doesn't come through, even if it lasts for hours, light rain starts to come through in places before long - but not across the entire fabric. It's hard to imagine a better compromise than this for a jacket when you want to prioritize breathability. My warmest recommendation.
