An amazing shoe! I used them for the NUTS Ylläs-Pallas 37km race, and they could easily have handled an even longer distance. I weigh over 100 kg, so they work well for heavier runners, too. The width is perfect for me, though the upper feels a bit too roomy—fortunately, the laces allow for a secure fit. The grip hasn't slipped once, and I've covered well over 100 km in them.| Overall rating |
They are great to run in—lightweight with good cushioning. The grip on wet rocks is indeed excellent. Drainage (for swimrun) was highlighted as a weak point in earlier reviews, but I haven't had any real issues with it; in any case, water doesn't stay in the shoe for an annoyingly long time. I had considered adding extra drainage holes when I first bought them, but after testing them out, it turns out that isn't necessary. Very happy with the shoes!| Overall rating |
An excellent shoe in every respect. The grip is truly incredible. It even works for light rock climbing—such as on via ferrata routes—instead of approach shoes! A cosmetic downside is that the upper practically attracts dirt and rubber scuff marks. It is probably worth treating them with a suitable protective spray if the shoe's appearance matters to you. The sizing is indeed on the generous side; I found a size 0.5 to 1 smaller than usual to be the right fit.Great grip.
