Saimaa Kayaks' inflatable Adventure 2 touring kayak for two is the most popular inflatable kayak due to its versatility. The kayak has a good carrying capacity and is suitable as a general and touring kayak for the whole family due to its stability, ease of use and safety. A complete package with all the equipment ready for the water.
The width of the kayak and the round PVC pontoon edges make the canoe stable, so it is easy to get in and out of the open kayak, even if your balance is a little weak. When paddling, you don't have to worry about the kayak tipping over, even if the other paddler (or even the dog you are riding) sways a little differently.
The Adventure 2 kayak is versatile, as solo paddling is easy by moving the bench to the middle, which frees up space for equipment even on longer trips. Two removable fins and a long waterline help keep the kayak on course, so even longer crossings are fun. A handy, fold-up splash guard on the bow cover helps keep the waves out. Thanks to its stability, the Adventure 2 kayak also makes fishing easy.
The durable and hard dropstitch floor, familiar from SUP boards, keeps the canoe in its shape thanks to the high inflation pressure, giving it a good glide. The floor is covered on top with a durable EVA (cellular plastic) coating, which protects the floor and prevents slipping when getting in and out of the kayak. The underwater bottom is protected with additional PVC plastic, so contact with rocks or other objects will not damage the bottom. The side pontoons and the floor have their own air chambers, which brings safety to the water. The bow and stern covers are made colorful so that the kayak can be seen from afar. Drain valves in the bottom. The kayak has a load capacity of 220kg.
The seats are thicker than a regular fabric seat (7cm) and slightly cup-shaped on the sides, which provides additional support and comfort when paddling. The seat has good adjustments and galvanized quick-release fasteners. The footrests also have good adjustments and are adjustable to fit from a child to an adult. All quick-release fasteners and the kayak's integrated D-rings are galvanized aluminum.
The aluminum paddle with plastic blades is 220cm long and weighs 1050g. The paddle can be disassembled into four parts, so it packs into a small space. The paddle has three different blade angle adjustments and water runoff prevention on the shaft.
The package includes two paddles, a bench and a footrest, a fast dual-action pump (pumps when pulling and pushing), a carrying bag, two fins, rubber bands for transporting goods, and a repair kit. The canoe is quick to fill up to paddling readiness in about 15 minutes and easy to pack back into the carrying bag in a few minutes. Three-year warranty.

There are three of us and because of the dog we can't surf with just any device. This kayak is sturdy enough that even a slightly more timid dog can ride it. It's good to have a helper to deflate the air, it's possible alone but slow. In addition, we bought a pocket-sized battery-powered pump for filling that works with a hand pump cord for quick initial inflation and the rest of the pressure with the pump. There are two fins on the bottom of the kayak that keep the kayak perfectly straight, meaning it doesn't twist during the trip, but the fins are too deep when landing. I don't understand why they can't be shorter and longer on the other hand. Now I have to cut them in half and glue the length to them separately. Of course, it works well if you always start from the pier. We like to paddle, so the fins are modified to suit that use.| Overall rating |
The Saimaa Kayaks Adventure 2 kayak has fully met my expectations. The pump is efficient both in pumping in and out. The valves work well. The paddles are short, but additional parts are probably available. Two bottom fins stabilize the ride well. During the filling phase, you should pay attention to the fact that the loose bottom part is straight and not tilted between the side panels.
