Ampumaradalla ei toimii täydellisesti, jos tulee monta laukausta eri suunnista osaa pääsee hetkeksi läpi ennen kuin äännenvaimennus toimii. Myös aika herkkä tuulelle. Ehkä perinteiset aktiivipeltorit olisi parempi valinta.

Alkuun meni hetki tottua siihen, että herkimmällä asetuksessa menee hetki kunnes "kuulo" palautuu eli kovemmat äänet "tappaa" kaikki äänet pois. Tämä korostuu esmes jos kävelee risukossa niin kuuleminen on haastavaa koska kuulokkeet vetää kanavat hiljaisiksi. Parhaat kuulosuojaimet mitä itsellä on tällä hetkellä. Ampumaradalla oli käytössä Burrelin kuulusuojaimet ja vasemman korvan kuulovaurio otti hieman lisää itseensä 50 laukauksesta eli korva soi viikon. Sen sijaan Calibereilla ei vastaavaa ilmiötä ole tullut eli suojaus on kunnossa. 2 viikon päästä lintujahti Puolangalla kertonee enemmän miten toimii sitten maasto-olosuhteissa joissa kävellään pidempää matkaa ja pitäisi kyetä kuulemaan lintujen lähtösuunnat. Itsellä siis kuulovaurio ja pakko pitää kuulokkeita päässä ja nämä heittämällä parhaimman tuntuiset tähän mennessä päässä ja suojaus omasta mielestä hyvä.
