The Scarpa F1 XT is a streamlined boot designed for experienced ski mountaineers seeking efficiency for technical touring with minimal gear. Featuring the Wave Lite Closure system and the innovative Overlap Shield Tech gaiter, this Italian-made boot offers exceptional performance with just two buckles. It's compatible with TLT (Optimized Touring Pivot - 1mm) bindings, making it an ideal choice for those who value simplicity and functionality.
The Overlap Shield Tech gaiter, made from Lycra with soft over-injected plastic reinforcements, offers an easy, uniform fit without pressure points. Differentiated reinforcement thickness ensures protection without added weight, with excellent thermal insulation and adjustable bands.
Constructed with Grilamid FG LFT Shell, using Long Fiber Technology and long carbon fibers, the F1 XT boasts impressive durability and lightweight rigidity. The 3D Lambda Frame enhances stiffness and torsion resistance, reducing shell thickness for reduced weight. The Speed Lock LT Ski/Walk Mechanism, tailored for the cuff, offers three forward lean positions and efficient lever locking with minimal snow or ice accumulation. Friction Free Technology enables seamless, friction-free walking without a connecting rod between the shell and cuff.
The Closure System features the Power Strap Lite with a Velcro strap for secure, lightweight tibial wrapping, supported by a durable aluminum ring. The Wave Lite Closure System ensures precise, pressure-free fastening with a sheathed steel cable at three points and adjustable micrometric lever. The Carbon Grilamid LFT Cuff is built with long carbon fibers for exceptional resistance and rigidity.
Grid Frame Tech strengthens the cuff's rear with a unique grid design, enhancing force transmission and improving tibia wrapping. The Tour LT2 Liners provide a snug, adaptable fit with Foam Intuition technology, offering thermal insulation, lightness, and comfort. Flex panels enhance walking flexibility, and a velcro strap allows for gaiter positioning, with two loops for easy donning. The ORTHOLITE footbed is made from recycled materials, emphasizing sustainability.
