The quality is Fjällraven's well-known high quality. The jacket is very warm, well suited to the colder temperatures of the Finnish winter. The jacket was also tested in a slightly more demanding windy frost (-12c, 16m/s), where the jacket performed excellently, retaining heat and preventing drafts from getting inside the jacket through the high collar. The jacket has large external side pockets and handy internal mesh pockets. The inner pockets can be used to keep a 1ltr Nalgene bottle warm while hiking, so the pockets are also spacious. The jacket also comes with a storage bag for storing the jacket. I chose size L for the jacket, which is a generous size for me (180cm, 84kg), so that a thicker fleece or even a lighter down jacket could fit underneath. Otherwise, my size would have been M.
