I switched from Lundhags Skare expedition boots (and Kuusamo Fingrip Easy bindings) to these. The previous ones were very sturdy winter hiking boots, and the narrower appearance of these Abiskus in particular and the poorer walkability due to the boot-like nature made me think. These are clearly narrower and more cramped, but in the end it didn't bother me. I used the boots with a felt (of course) but without an insole, so the feel was good on my own feet. And a couple of weeks of testing in Lapland showed that the boots are excellent for skiing and the walking required for ice fishing and camping is also possible without any difficulty. The only downside to the construction of the boots is related to the "toe pins". When ice fishing, wet slush easily freezes the spring mechanism of the pin. Then the pin may get stuck and not clip into the binding. First aid is hot water from the thermal or, in the absence of it, activating the pin with a finger. Next winter I will try to oil the system a little in advance. For this reason, one star is taken off.

Very snug, but extremely comfortable and looks very durable

They are warm, warmer than two other xplore boots I've tried. Measure foot per Lundhags boot sizing to get Mondo size. I added 1.5 cm, and a ghod fit. But the EUR size is off. I ordered 43 in these. I typically wear a 44 or 44.67. These are a bit snug when putting foot in. But they fit well. I've done a multi-day tour, and other outings. No issues, and they seem better as they continue to break in.

Overall awesome boots. Last year I ordered the abisku Xplore using Lundhags measurement tips, but the fit was too small and compress the top of my foot without lacing. This year I added 1 size and the fit is much more comfortable. Usually, I have 42 and ordered 43.
