Product description
Petzl Ergonomic is a high-precision ice axe built for steep ice climbing and demanding dry tooling where secure hanging and confident pulling matter most. This technical ice axe uses an aggressively angled lower grip to reduce fatigue on long locks and to add leverage on hard moves.
A dual-handle layout supports several grip options and makes hand changes feel controlled on overhangs, rock and ice. With a modular head system, it can be tuned with different picks and head components to match specific objectives on mixed terrain.
- Performance ice climbing and dry tooling ice axe for steep and overhanging routes
- Double handle design with high and low grips for stable swaps and multiple hand positions
- Sharply angled lower handle for stronger pulls and more comfortable hanging on difficult sections
- Upper grip with an overmolded bi-material build for dependable hold and cold insulation
- Hydroformed shaft shaped for secure mid-shaft handling
- DRY pick designed for rock snow and ice with a tapered 3,3 mm tip plus a stronger 4 mm body for torquing and slotting
- Toothed pick edge helps control inverted positions during technical moves
- Masselottes weights add swing inertia and help the pick seat into cracks more easily
- Minimalist Mini Marteau hammer helps protect the head and can be used to drive a piton back in
- Alpen Adapt modular system with interchangeable picks plus swap-ready adze and hammer components
- Includes Dry pick, Masselottes weights, Mini Marteau, Griprest Ergonomic handrest and protective caps for the pick
