Suitable for a walk in the forest as well as a motorcycle, light, flexible but still spacious.

primarily bought as a camera bag for shorter hikes with little need for additional gear. 2nd use as chest bag on the Jääkäri XL. Great quality as always from Savotta.

As a shoulder bag great for everyday use. It can even fit a Stanley 1l thermos (diagonally) and a lot more. Very comfy also as a hip bag under plate carrier, fixed above battle belt. No problems sitting in that configuration too.

A true gem from the Savotta collection. Use it as a hip or shoulder bag. The downside is that the taffeta isn't waterproof and the strap is a bit short.

It has been in practical daily use as a slingback since I bought it. The buckle strap can be easily removed from the back even in tight spaces. And everything is conveniently accessible when you just flip the bag over the front of your chest.

A great sized backpack for day trips and everyday use! It can comfortably fit basic items and a few spare clothes.

Savotta does not disappoint. The Askare is as sturdy and well designed as they come. Attaches perfectly to the Kahakka 25L. Although advertised as a hip pack, works just as well as a sling. Tip: you will most likely need elastic organizers and/or trinket pouches to store everything neatly - and efficiently. Consider purchasing a couple such solutions together with the Askare.

Excellent product. I use it as a sling bag on motorcycle trips. All the small items I need are quickly available. Quite a price, but I probably won't need to buy a new one for a while.
