We have about 40% weight difference with my partner and this devise changed the belaying situation dramatically for us. There are some downsides (the rope jammed once or twice, it's impossible to give a proper slack), but hey, with such a weight difference the belayer just can't belay properly without an aid; with Ohm it is now a comfortable process. So, very satisfied.

My partner is 1.6 times of my weight and I always had a bad time belaying him. But after getting OHM, it's a life changing experience, I didn't get lifted up when my partner fell. Really loved it and highly recommended it!

Works as a charm for me (81kg) and my wife (51kg). I had tried the first version a long time ago and was not convinced, as it tended to block as I pulled rope for clipping. No so much with this new version (used 3 times in both in- and outdoor climbing, with a 9.5mm rope). I was getting afraid of trying harder routes and taking big falls that could hurt my little parter-belayer. Not anymore :D
