Saimaa Kayaks' Smart is an agile and easy-to-paddling kayak, which is suitable for every cabin for paddling trips to nearby beaches and rivers. The 67cm wide and smoother profile of the bottom makes the kayak very stable and easy to control, even for first-timers. The 330cm length of the hull makes it easy to steer, so even smaller people or children can make the kayak obey the steering. Smart is an excellent choice for a first sit-in kayak.

Smart's sturdy frame is made of polyethylene, which is highly resistant to possible impacts to the pier or rocks both on the beach and in the water. The kayak has two watertight bulkheads that separate the bow, middle and stern from each other. Storage space can be found in the smaller bow and larger stern waterproof packing hatches equipped with rubber covers, as well as on the deck under the cover rubber bands. There is also storage space behind the backrest of the swiveling bench.

The kayak has a removable 41cm long, liftable rudder, which is controlled with the feet from the footrests. The footrests are adjustable with large adjustments for people of various sizes. The precisely designed and padded bench with an adjustable backrest makes it comfortable to paddle even for longer periods of time. The kayak has front and rear carrying handles and deck ropes.

It comes with a light and detachable aluminum paddle with plastic pallets, which is 222cm long and weighs 950g. The handle of the paddle has a grip pad for the right hand, as well as three different blade angle adjustment possibilities and runoff water barriers on the paddle. The paddle gives you a very pleasant grip and a good feel for paddling.
