Saimaa Kayaks Fisher

The Fisher fishing kayak will take you on fishing and hunting trips to lakes, seas and rivers. The 80cm wide Fisher is a stable and agile fishing kayak, with a high and padded bench that makes it very comfortable to paddle and fish from, even if you have no previous kayaking experience. The Fisher is easy to equip with echo sounders, rod holders and other unique solutions.

The kayak has two perforated rod or fishing rod holders behind the bench and on both sides in front of the bench are rails for ball-jointed rod holders that can be adjusted to your preferred distances, making trolling easy. The Fisher has its own slot for the sonar in the front, from which the sonar can be easily threaded onto the grille under the kayak. The sonar display can be attached to the side or front using an optional bracket.

Equipment is easily stored in three separate waterproof storage boxes with lids and in the open space at the rear with rubber bands, which can easily hold a pack of fish, for example.

The breathable, durable and sturdy bench with an aluminum frame is extremely comfortable to sit on even during long sessions. The backrest angle can be adjusted continuously and there are two settings for height and distance.

The footrests have large adjustment options for people of all sizes. The 45cm long liftable rudder is turned with the control pedals on the footrests. When fishing in shallow water, the rudder is easy to lift up with a pull cord. There is a handy paddle holder on the side of the kayak when you reach the shore, so there is room for fishing.

The fishing kayak's frame is made of strong polyethylene, which can withstand bottom contact and possible impacts on rocks and piers on the shore. The kayak's good front, side and rear handles make handling the canoe on land easy.

The paddle comes with a lightweight, two-piece aluminum paddle with plastic blades, which is 222cm long and weighs 950g. The paddle shaft has a right-hand grip, three blade angle adjustments, and water runoff prevention on the blade. The paddle provides a very comfortable grip and a good feel for paddling.
