There is an anti-slip pad at the ball of the foot that wraps around the instep and squeezes enough to make me hesitant to wear them for long distances.

A compression sock that is easy to put on and stretches comfortably; it provides excellent support—for instance, for the ankle—and offers effective compression despite being thin. The EU sizing is very accurate, the heel fits perfectly, and the sock doesn't chafe. I can no longer run myself due to injuries from a traffic accident, but I imagine the sock would hold up well during running, too.

Light, unobtrusive, good grip on the sole, no sock and no foot slipping inside the shoe. Works well for swimrun.
