The Exped MegaMat Auto is a premium self-inflating camping mat designed specifically for vehicle use. Its unique shape, featuring cut-outs, ensures a snug fit inside your car, providing a comfortable sleeping surface. With 10 cm of open-cell foam, it offers excellent insulation and comfort, while the 3D construction maximizes the sleeping area. — Show originalIt’s a good product, and I’d guess it’s more comfortable than Tesla’s own mattress since it’s thicker. When packed, it fits easily into the sub-trunk, leaving enough room for sunshades as well. In addition to the mattress, it’s worth getting some kind of support for the head end, as it otherwise sags over the open space. Of course, this is an issue with all mattresses used in Teslas. If I had to find a fault, the mattress could perhaps be a tad thicker for added comfort. Also, deflating and packing it up is a bit slow since an electric pump isn't included. Fortunately, that doesn't really bother me, and there's no huge rush anyway :)| Overall rating |

We’ve been really impressed with this sleeping mat. It holds air perfectly—no deflation overnight, even after multiple uses. For the best experience, I highly recommend purchasing the Exped pump; it’s the perfect match and makes both inflation and deflation quick and effortless. As for comfort, this is by far the most comfortable sleeping mat we’ve tried. It provides great support and insulation, making for a restful night’s sleep wherever you are.
— Show originalGood durability, not easy to make holes in it, size suitable for Tesla Model Y, but perhaps the biggest challenge is the slow self-inflating - you always have to use the hand pump up to 50 times or more to get it inflated. In contrast, the presentation video said that when spread out and the IN valves open, the mattress should self-inflate about half way - this did not happen.
Rolling, deflating is a bit challenging, but I have no point of comparison how it works in other models, so maybe that's ok too.
But the most important feature - the sleeping comfort is absolutely top notch, neither of us has back pain (we are a 50-year-old couple), there was something to choose from on the air mattress every morning.
