My first use was a week long trekking/climbing trip in the Italian Alps with around 15 kg.load. Very comfy shoulder straps and hip belt with a good load distribution - despite me being 1,9 meter tall. This pack is not super light weight but it is virtually indestructible. Love the 2 side zips: one for a big pocket for wet gear/map/other flat stuff and the other for direct access to the main compartment to grap and stash your puffy jacket quickly during fresh/windy breaks. Big roomy lid and with all the pals webbing you can add on easily extra side pouches, belt pockets, etc. Long roll top is simpel and very effective. You can stash the rain cover behind back panel. By the way: it is a very roomy 40 liter! All in all a very clever design - one of the best in my 40 years plus use of an wide array of back packs.

— Show originalLarge, well-structured backpack, excellent flexibility, and plenty of room to adjust load requirements thanks to a comprehensive range of easily and intelligently assembled accessories... it's a military-style backpack, with no compromises, just efficient functionality. Excellent weight management, a brilliant ventral attachment system, and overall good padding, even without a vest underneath. The back isn't very well ventilated, but there's no backpack with a ventilated back that doesn't make you sweat. Excellent product.| Overall rating |
