— Show originalThe smoker basically meets the requirements. Hot smoking is fine, but smoking delicate foods is very difficult. For example, smoked salmon at 80°C. Either the temperature shoots up too high (to 130°C) to make the wood chips smoke, or at a lower temperature (around 80°C) the chips don't smolder. I haven't tried cold smoking with a smoldering fire yet. But for the described scenario, I'll also try to decouple the cooking process from the smoking process by using the smoldering fire and only using the heating element for temperature control. (So, for foods that I want to cook at around 120°C.) If that works, it would be worth the fifth star. Otherwise, it's a great device, a real eye-catcher. A practical device for people who can't use a smoker because of their neighbors. I'll also try it out for something else, for example, burnt ends from pork belly.| Overall rating |

The smoker is great, small issue there was no part 14 included in the box. It fits on the two surplus holes on the top of the smoker.
