The Salomon S/Lab Ultra 12 is extremely lightweight. It's extremely comfortable to wear and has plenty of space in the pockets for drinks, small snacks, gels, and your cell phone. Highly recommended.

Great vest! I love the additional waterproof pocket for the phone!

— Show originalHaving owned the previous 12L model for years, the new one stays true to the brand while offering improvements (lighter, more breathable, easier-to-use flask pockets, waterproof phone pocket).
An excellent product that I recommend.| Overall rating |
— Show originalA bit heavy compared to the previous model, but it feels more robust and will likely last longer. It fits very well, and I think Salomon has finally got the elastic straps holding the water bottles in place right. Are the opening lids on the bottles necessary? No, in my opinion, they just add extra weight.| Overall rating |

I have never owned a running backpack this good! The overall design is absolutely superb. It is incredibly comfortable, easy to use, and made from a wonderfully lightweight material. Everything is perfectly accessible while on the move, and the pocket layout is highly logical. I especially love that there is a dedicated, separate pocket just for my phone. However, the quality of the included flasks is not the best. I have only used the vest four times, and one of the flasks is already leaking, which is quite disappointing. Overall, I absolutely love the backpack itself, but the hydration flasks definitely need better quality control.

— Show originalLight and easy to reach into pockets.
I have a problem with compression socks (thin ones), which cause me to get bloody sores on the lower edge of my chest or even above my sports top. I would like a wider shoe that wouldn't cause sores. (I use kinesio tape to prevent sores, but that also wears out the skin and is a bit expensive.)| Overall rating |
