Product description

Edelrid Rope Protector offers quick, adjustable rope protection with a Velcro-style closure for easy retrofitting exactly where abrasion risk is highest. This rope protector is designed for work and recreational rope use, helping shield abseil ropes and anchor slings from wear against rock or site structures. It can be opened, wrapped around the rope at any point, and secured in place without needing to thread the rope through. An integrated carabiner helps keep the guard positioned at the chosen spot so it stays where it is needed.

  • Fast to install anywhere on the rope without rethreading
  • Velcro-style closure allows secure, adjustable wrapping around the rope
  • Built-in carabiner helps hold the protector at critical wear points
  • Helps reduce abrasion on abseil ropes when running over edges or rough surfaces
  • Suitable for protecting anchor sling loops from rubbing damage
  • Made for both professional and leisure rope use
  • Fits ropes up to 13 mm in diameter
  • 70 cm coverage length for protecting longer contact areas
