Product description

Genzo Pro-Optics Pro 4.4G is a rugged, Nordic-conditions-ready trail camera that makes remote monitoring easy by sending images straight to Molnus over 4G. A camera with potential has been ruined by a poor management app (Molnus). I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. + Image quality was a pleasant surprise, including night shots; that’s where the one star comes from—Molnus cost it the rest. + Setup was easy; I’m not using a Molnus SIM card, but rather one from a domestic operator. - Not really suitable for use as a game camera. Even when set to take PIR-triggered photos with a 5-second delay, it sometimes takes PIR-triggered shots with a delay of 2–3 minutes. While the settings do allow you to choose 1, 2, 3, or 10 photos per PIR trigger, you don't necessarily want 10 photos for every little rustle. - Not really suitable for surveillance use either; the remote control functionality isn't fully thought out. For instance, if you set the operating time for 15:00–17:00 and want to change it later, the new setting won't reach the camera until it connects to the Molnus service. In other words, if the camera doesn't detect motion (a PIR trigger) between 15:00 and 17:00, the new setting won't take effect. It can take quite a while to wait for that motion to occur.
