Product description

Blue Ice Harfang Alpine is a highly packable 12-point crampon built for demanding alpine routes and mixed terrain where dependable bite and stable footing matter. This crampon uses a chromoly steel front and rear rail linked by a flexible central textile strap to reduce bulk in the pack without sacrificing climbing confidence. An asymmetrical front rail helps keep the stance balanced on technical ground, while the included anti-balling system helps limit snow build-up underfoot. Supplied with both automatic and semi-automatic attachment options, it is set up for mountain boots with front and rear welts, with ski boot compatibility available via a standard toe bail sold separately.

  • Technical mountaineering crampon designed as a compact 12-point option for alpine and mixed terrain
  • Asymmetrical front rail for a more balanced feel and strong edging performance
  • Chromoly steel front and rear rails for durable penetration on firm snow and ice
  • Central textile linking strap keeps pack size down compared to fully rigid linking bars
  • Anti-balling system on both rails to help prevent snow build-up while moving
  • Includes automatic compact toe bail and semi-automatic toe basket for two fastening styles
  • Fits mountain boots with front and rear welts, ski boot use requires a standard toe bail (not included)
  • Heel lever with micro adjustment for fine-tuning tension
  • Fixed pivoting point cable attachment for consistent articulation
  • Three bail adjustment hole positions to dial in setup for different boots
  • Includes a storage bag that can attach to a backpack waist belt for faster access
  • Ankle strap has no end stop, tying a knot helps prevent loosening or loss
