These current Nokias are nowhere near the same level as those previously made in Finland, we are talking about completely different products. The finish and durability are far from those made in Finland, the ones that even lasted from one generation to the next. I would be willing to pay significantly more for rubber boots if the quality and durability were the same as before, the domestic level. At the moment, I have to be content with what is available. However, those red Kontio boots really look great, especially when new, and are very comfortable to wear!

Nokian, and specifically the red rubber boots, were my husband's number one wish. We would have liked the boots to have been made in Finland. However, the boots are of high quality in every way. The user finds them comfortable to wear and supportive when walking in the woods or doing yard work.

Familiar, durable boots, same model used for many years. Long-lasting compared to other brands. A little heavy and clumsy compared to sneakers, but good stuff! I recommend surface treatment at least once a year.

Credit footwear for decades. You should buy one size smaller. 40 is my normal size, but 39 is suitable even with wool socks.
