- The long stem can be used to clear the tube of an ice screw.
- The wrench at the end of the shaft is useful for retightening a bolt hanger (8 mm nut or bolt) .
- The hook at the end of the stem can be used to:
grab the rope when making a thread anchor in ice,
disengaging the cam of a camming device,
removing a wired nut.

I haven't had a chance to use it on the ice yet but the design is excellent. By using this tool I am able to leave my knife at home and save a few more grams. The bonus is that it includes the screw cleaning tool which I've never had.
