This underestimated functional garment should always be included in your equipment when you are out in the wilderness. The unisex poncho has many areas of use. It can naturally be used when it rains, it is just a matter of throwing the poncho over yourself and your backpack. However, a poncho can also be used as a tarp, wind sack or to cover your sleeping bag when sleeping under the stars. It is useful during your day-to-day activities, when commuting to and from work, when you are biking or when you are at outdoor concerts. Add a pair of chaps if you want to have more protection for your legs. Do not miss out on this functional, lightweight solution.

Too short if you are taller than 170. Didn't go over the knee. I just walked a Camino and thought I would buy the best one. All it did was guide the rain on the knee and right into the socks/boots. Worthless! Had to hold out the poncho instead of the poles. Why not make different lengths of the poncho? I am 183. Delivery was great. The product is crap for me| Overall rating |
It follows me every day in my daypack and, on summer treks, it now replaces my Gore-Tex. A little heavy but it replaces a coverbag and overpants at the same time. And so much easier to put on and take off than a jacket without having to take off the backpack. Beautiful finish and manufacturing quality, as always with Fjallraven.
