The water should be boiled quickly. The only, small, pity is that sometimes when you have boiled the water once, the lighter, the spark arrester, doesn't spark right away. When the time clicks, it will go away. I personally carry some backup equipment for this. Oh yeah, did I mention that this gets the waters boiling fast? ;)

A good efficient cooker, maybe a bit sensitive to wind. Using their own gas bottles, the bottle goes inside the kettle for transport, clever. The cover can easily open in the backpack, but you can manage with it and you can always secure it with a string or strap if necessary.
The form factor is absolutely brilliant, because all the parts pack together. Previously used Primus, which has many parts and takes up a lot of space. If you just need to boil water, then nothing beats Jetboil. We considered a smaller model, but the difference in external dimensions is so small, so we took the larger version
