The Micron Lantern is a durable and lightweight lantern that is ideal for any backpacking adventure. Available in two versions: steel mesh for maximum durability and minimal weight, or in frosted glass for maximum light output for added versatility.
Piezo ignition lights with a simple push button and the quiet burner allows you to enjoy the sounds of the backcountry nightlife. The adjustable brightness puts out a maximum of 235 lumens for the mesh version or 360 for the glass version or turned down for ambiance.
Its durable plastic carrying case (glass version) or nylon storage sack (steel mesh version) keeps the lantern safe in transit while the hanging system ensures you can use the lantern anywhere. One mantle included.

— Show originalThe gas heater is durable and good. The installation of the sock was not entirely intuitive, but even if installed a little incorrectly, it works after the initial burnout. The heating power of 300 W is too little in most rooms, and two or more devices may be necessary. But with a 450 g cartridge, a longer operating time of over 10 hours can be achieved.

— Show originalEasy to use, bright and warm. Works in a tent, outdoors, in a cabin and in a cabin. It hisses quite loudly if at full blast, but it's not disturbing, even a nice atmosphere with the warmth/light of the lantern.
Of course, you have to be very careful in the tent, but it comes with a good support wire with which you can hang the lantern safely.
It warms the interior really quickly and really great in the morning after damp/cold weather, turn on the lantern and the tent is pleasant and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable leaving the sleeping bag.
I would take half a star off because of the expensive and rather hard to find lamp socks, especially since these are quite sensitive after the initial burn.
But you can order these cheaply elsewhere, so it's not a big problem and if you don't knock too much, they will last a long time in use.| Overall rating |
