Good-looking, very sturdy and comfortable hiking shoes. The sole doesn't feel too stiff on forest trails. Complete waterproofness has yet to be tested, but at least water droplets come off the surface.

Awesome boots that work perfectly on my feet, but be careful not to use wax other than Meindl's own because then the rubber edges will come off the leather.

Really good shoes. The stiffness of the sole is a bit too much for asphalt paths, but really good when stepping on soft ground and the absolute best in the fells. The rubber that rises high at the bottom of the leather/shoe starts to crack over time (after several years) at the ball/joint, but on the other hand, before that it protects the leather from hundreds or thousands of scratches. Relatively light and breathable. I hope they last the same 15 years as the previous ones.

A very nice pair of hiking boots. However, my right boot has a manufacturing defect. The lacing eyelets were incorrectly positioned on one side of the boot (a clear manufacturing error). As a result, the lacing is crooked and completely unsightly. I reported the problem to Meindl by email with photos, and I still haven't received any reaction or response from them. It's simply deplorable! I've been a Meindl customer for over 30 years. This is undoubtedly their way of thanking me!!

Really nice boot but couldn’t get the size I needed and when came was to big so swapped them out for the men’s vacuum gtx . Both great boots just this one didn’t have the size I needed

Shoes that last for years are the third best, lasting about 7 years even with relatively heavy use.

Excellent shoes, is my fourth pair actually. When you find hiking shoes that are nice to your foot you don't experience with others. I used the last pair actually almost daily mountain hiking and found out they were getting slippery after 1200km which I had covered in 11 months. They old ones will be used alongside.
