I’ve just completed my first week-long paddling trip. When full, the water bladder was stowed in front of the footrests, and later—once partially emptied—behind the seat. Otherwise, it might be awkwardly large to pack into a kayak for a trip; smaller ones would fit better in the hatches. However, the bladder seems durable and does the job well.| Overall rating |
It works exactly as it should and is versatile to use. For gravity-fed water purification for larger groups, it is compatible with the Sawyer Mini Water Filtration System—meaning the filter can be screwed directly onto the bag's threads. It rolls up compactly and is lightweight.| Overall rating |
I used a hydration bladder on a two-day hiking trip with the kids. The hydration bladder is easy to fill and carry, and doesn't leak. During use, it has been a bit of a challenge to operate the emptying nozzle so as not to accidentally open the entire connection. A sensible purchase.
