Product description
The Dovre Extreme GTX field sports boot is a high cut boot designed ideally for hunting, but has been praised as a well serving all-rounder. The height of the boot makes it protective in muddy conditions and the rigidity gives excellent ankle support yet has enough flexibility to be comfortable straight out of the box. Made on the Meindl wide fitting last.
The uppers are made from Nubuck leather with a Gore-Tex lining providing a reliable, durable and waterproof frame. Equipped with an Air-Active footbed, the boot stays well ventilated and any unwanted moisture is wicked away in an instant.
Meindl prioritise comfort and have done so here using a Memory Foam System. A combination of foams create extra padding around areas of pressure and pinching and mold to the foot using body heat. This not only gives better support but a comfy, customised fit.
The Dovre Extreme MFS GTX is finished with a Meindl Multigriff sole by Vibram, offering outstanding traction on all terrain particularly in wet and muddy conditions.

Robust quality shoes. I have used them now for more than a year and they show no significant signs of wear and tear. Very satisfied with this purchase.
— Show originalBasically, it's hard to find wilderness boots in this size. This shoe will do great in winter too, if you leave room for decent wool socks. I wouldn't wear such "rough" shoes for summer hikes/fishing trips, but I'd rather wear the best quality for autumn and winter yachting. Let's see how the soles last in the current Meind shoes. I've had these for a couple of seasons now. The soles on the old ones lasted for years... of course the factory will put on new soles for a hundred bucks!| Overall rating |

This is the second pair of Meindle Dovre Extreme GTX boots I've bought. I'm 70 now and retired so I think they will last me a very long time. I've had lots of different types of boots for years but these are definitely the best I've ever had. Tough and hard-wearing but loads of support and very comfortable. I worked on a farm looking after a pack of hounds and the Hunt horses, so lots of walking and washing things down. Lots of mud and very rough ground, never had wet feet even when they were well worn. Best boots ever!!

I’m hunting Moose in northern Canada along rivers and lakes, camping out in the woods for 10 days at the time ‘ best equipment is a must ! Meindl boots are the best I ever had in my 38 years of hunting experience in Canada
The boots are top class, as expected. Very good service overall, looking forward to a days stalking with dry feet.

Always had meindl boots. Dovre...last pair lasted 9yrs..only thing I would say is meindl need to use better glue to keep the rubber rand from coming away from the leather...
